1. Saying a joke or statement that has no meaning other than providing others with a sense for how retarded one is
2. Using formal words one does not know the meaning of in an attempt to sound smarter than one is (possibly in a deep voice)

"Dude Shane kept saying the same joke over and over, it wasn't even funny he was totally pulling an ethan."
