When out with a group of your buddies you 'escape' or 'eject', early and without warning to get home 'on time' or because you're too loaded, on a trip back from the bathroom or by sneaking out a side or back door.

"Where the hell is Grease?" "Haven't seen him for a while. He was so gooned, he must have Houdini'd."
