St. Louis slang meaning odd, suspicious, or sketchy. Usually used for a person, place, thing, or event. Mainly used for when something is scan in general and not in relation to anything specific. Similar to “sus”.

“Im thinking about going to that party tonight.”
“Don’t go, the guy throwing it is kinda scan.”

“That gas station off Hanley is kinda scan”

“I wouldn’t buy weed from him, he’s scan”

“This St. Paul sandwich looks kinda scan”
