Macro

Used to describe something that is incredibly crappy, somewhat purposeless and usually is instantaneously obsolete. Somewhat derogatory.

Origin: A video game controller with a "Macro" button on it, which usually causes said game to cease function.

"Dude, this controller has a button that freezes the game."
"That's so Macro!"
"Yeah, there's no excuse for that."

.02

Your two cents.

Definition must have at least 20 letters and 3 words. (That should do it).

half again

One and-a-half times as much as something.

"Indeed, the first year of the office's ad campaign, ABC grabbed nearly $30 million worth, half again as much as Fox, its nearest rival at $20 million."

death metal

Death metal is characterized mostly by absolutely unintelligible vocals - often not even real words - and drummers who only know how to use thier bass pedal.

Cannibal Corpse is a fine example... of the worst music I've heard in my life.

celebritarian

This is a word coined by Reverend Marilyn Manson (formerly Brian Warner). As humanitarian describes a devotion to human welfare, "celebritarian" describes a devotion to the needs of a celebrity or idol.

"They orchestrated dramatic new scenes, for celebritarian needs" - "The Fall of Adam" (Track 17), "Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death)", 2000.
