Korean fantasy

noun, countable, plural Korean fantasies
an extremely strong feeling of happiness and excitement which people of Korean descent imagine happening to them because it helps them forget about their racial inferiority complex developed during the colonial periods, but which will probably never happen

A Korean fantasy is that one day Korea will be a superpower in the East Asia; on the contrary she will be invaded by other countries again if she keeps neglecting to face up to imminent national danger and enjoying the Korean fantasy.

1) Japan has been the reigning Asia champion since 2000.

2) Last summer, Aug. 7th, 2004, the Japan national football team was surrounded by hundreds of anti-Japanese Chinese supporters after the final of the AFC Asia Cup in Beijing. They threw stones and bottles at the team, and burnt the Japanese national flags. In every match, the Japanese national anthem was drowned out by boos, and Japanese supporters were thrown PET bottles and garbage by anti-Japanese Chinese supporters. Chinese xenophobia raises serious doubts about Beijing's ability to host the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

commusion

noun, countable
an erroneous belief in something good about Communism

The youth of China would rather live the commusion that had been implanted in them by the character building system of the Chinese Communist Party than wake up to reality because if reality turns out to be something quite different than what they have learned, it means having to aware that they have wasted their youth on the commusion.
