Creedin

A cross between a cretin and his creed.

A creedin is a person affected by startling bewilderment caused by believing with great enthusiasm in concepts, dogmas or assumptions based only on personal conviction or to the sole authority of those who have set out these concepts or assumptions, beyond the existence of any evidence for or against such ideas and especially beyond common sense.

The creedin is the quintessence of synthesis: when he speaks he says nothing.
