Variag

A Tolkien word. Variags are inhabitants of a country called Khand, in southern Middle Earth, between Mordor and Harad. They aren't Haradrim, and nothing really is said about them, which makes one wonder why Tolkien put them in at all. Maybe they were to have some crucial role in a book he never got around to writing? One website says the Variags were very loyal to Sauron whereas the Haradrim were just tricked. At least that makes a bit of sense. In fact I don't think we're even told they're humans. They might be orcs. Or elves. Or aaracokra. AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!! someone tell me what a Variag is!!!!!!

The Variag ambassador was not very popular at the royal court of Gondor.

Cloeasia

Realm in northeastern Magnamund, inbetween Vassagonia and Durenor. Its population are mostly of Vassagonian descent and its ruler, the Zultan Guldarra, is a king of the Vassagonian type. The capital, and only major city, is Kadan.

Although far enough east to be out of the Darklords' immediate range of interest, it is one of the first realms in line for Vassagonian ambitions.

It plays no significant part in the Lone Wolf series. I might be wrong about this, but I have a feeling the Legends character Qinefer may have come from a village in Cloeasia near to the Sommlending border.

A traveller by land from Sommerlund to Vassagonia would probably have to pass through Cloeasia.

chavvy

A chavvy is a top male specimen.

Has to be near shopping malls in the day to be seen as dominant male.

The common chav needs to impress girl chavs with his show of gel wealth and really original style of clothing.

In the evening a chav will move from shopping mall to outside an off- license and eventually to a Kebab Shop where the chav will display his chavness by removing his hands from the kebab at the exact moment he has had enough vitamins to start swearing again.

Chavs can therefore be found by their droppings which are donner meat, spit, coke and Mayfair stubs.

1) a member of a special team of Decepticons who all transform into animals: Razorclaw, Rampage, Tantrum, Divebomb, Headstrong. Combine into Predaking.

2) the name adopted by the evil side (ex-Decepticons) in Beast Wars.

Razorclaw is a Predacon.
