helltober

Helltober is most commonly known by educators and students as October. It is the end of the first grading period, the time when the midterm is delivered, when the first quarter’s grades are due, and when students and teachers’ patience with one another runs completely out.

I’ll be glad when we get through Helltober.

This is when school administrators give shitty answers to teachers to preserve the status quo, avoid responsibility, and then ask for suggestions and shoot them down as being against ed code, board policy, or another imagined authority.

The principal is using admin talk to justify the failure of the discipline policy.
