SFQ

"Silly f*****g question". This is a term often used by the British public services when the public approach them and ask blatantly obvious or silly questions that they could have answered themselves with very little effort. The people that ask SFQ's can usually be spotted making their way toward you through a crowded or non-crowded place, like a shark attracted to blood.

"Here comes an SFQ. You can see him coming towards us right now".
"He just asked me an SFQ asking me where the bus to Sandford was when he was stood right next to the bus timetable displayed on the bus stop".
