Is a body of water, that encompasses 14,000 acres. It is located appoximatly 15 miles from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
On a warm weekend you can find a variety of Tonka Trash, and Cougars, in oversized ( and overpriced ) vessels, which they own purely to one up their neighbors.
In Libbs bay you will find a dam that feeds Minnehaha Creek, which eventualy flows into the Mississippi River, at which point the river becomes too polluted to swim in.
Lake Minnetonka is a mostly manmade lake, which originated as several smaller lakes, which previouse generations thought would be great to be one large lake (these are also the same people who sank boats in the lake to dispose of them, brilliant). Many channels have been dug into other lakes which in turn they rename as "bays". Although Lake Minnetonka is by no means the largest lake in the state, it does have the most shoreline of any lake in the state. In turn lake shore livving comes at a premium, ( $500,000 to upwards of $50 million) and thus a generation of Tonka Trash has spawned.
Lake Minnetonka is too crowded and dirty, lets go to Prior Lake instead.
