An internal coup d'état that occurred in the United States of America on 6 January, 2001 that invalidated an accurate recount of the Florida votes in order to install the despotic dictator George W. Bush as president.

I'll always remember where I was for the Great American Coup d'État - I was sitting horrified in front of my TV screen.
