Dundee

A small city on the northeast coast of Scotland, boasting such titles as:

- The highest drug death rate in Europe
- The highest teen pregnancy rate

- 1/3 living in poverty
- 1/3 living in the housing schemes

- Being one of the few places where the population is going down
- >1 Hour from the nearest city, so if the locals don't kill you then boredom will

If you do ever decide to visit out of morbid curiosity, avoid the council schemes. More specifically Douglas, Kirkton, Lochee, and Charleston. The council prays that hipstery tourists on a day trip from Edinburgh don't go five minutes up above the city centre and realize it's a dump.

Southport

A small Merseyside seaside town, sometimes known as Sowie. The population mainly consists of retirees, chavs and people too broke to visit Blackpool.

"Want to go to Southport for a picnic?"

"Ew no, it's full of chavs and there are turds on the beach!"

The Dundee dialect was formed in the loud jute mills of the Victorian-era 19th century. The I's are turned into an 'eh' sound, so I'm becomes Ehm. This is unique and peculiar to Dundee. The phrase and song "dee til eh deh" uses local Dundonian dialect words (spelt phonetically) and is used by Dundee FC fans to express their support. It is also found on the back of the current Dundee FC 23-24 season SPFL home shirt.

Chav

A British stereotype.

Chavs are a relic from the 2000s characterized by violent and loud behaviour, being uneducated, living in low-income council estates / having a low-income, and wearing cheap sportswear brands. If something is of poor taste, chavs are all over it. Most chavs from the 2000s either grew out of it or became losers who peaked in high school.
