A motorized road vehicle that usually has four wheels and a partially or totally enclosed cabin for the operator and passenger(s). Can be gas-powered, diesel-powered, hydrogen-powered, electric, gas-electric hybrid, or steam-powered. Pioneered in the late 1880's and became largely accessible to the masses in the early 20th century. Many different styles exist, some of which include: sedan, coupe, hatchback, station wagon, roadster, etc.
A car is different from a golf cart or a UTV in that they are specifically designed to be driven on public roads and highways.
