A chicken chunk, yet only a certain type, that has been cut off from the larger mother strip and is battered and fried separately, but served in the same strip basket; a nub. Only recognized by a true food expert. Slang word: gib.

Taylor: Dude, what did you have for lunch today?
Madison: I ordered chicken strips, but came to find my basket was filled with a buttload of giblets!
