Hubris Hollister

A general pseudo name for a snobby, shallow, prissy, materialistic good looking men who shops at Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle etc to achieve that “worn” look, but are too snobby to actually buy something from a thrift store for the authentic thing. Hubris Hollisters are usually self proclaimed foodies, define themselves as hipsters, exercise excessively and rarely have girlfriends. Hubris Hollisters are a detriment to themselves because of their obvious pathetic screaming cry to be cool partnered with the total lack of common sense to do naturally instead of “buying it at the mall.”

EVERYBODY under 30 knows at least 3 Hubris Hollisters personally!!! GENERAL EXAMPLES:
The majority of male students age 14 to 30 who either come from families with money or want to appear as if they do. Overeducated 30- somethings men with low self esteem problems. Foreigners trying to look American.

Superfan

"Superfan" was coined by the L.A. press during the Michael Jackson funeral to describe some of his followers. A Superfan is someone who is so consumed by the celebrity, they’ve gone to the point of changing his or her life to accommodate his or her devotion to said Superstar. (Example moving to the same city, impersonating and/or spending excessive time in person and/or on line following the targeted entertainer.)

Christopher Cheatham is such a Michael Jackson Superfan that he used his rent money to buy a plane ticket to Los Angeles and didn't even have a ticket to the Staples Center!

Fanaddict

A person so consumed by a celebrity or team that he or she has created a lifestyle around his or her infatuation. This person may close down a business during all team sports events, spend money recklessly to see their celebrity or team, and/or ruin relationships over their devotion to said fan-addiction. Examples include impersonators, imitators, priests and superfans.

William Nicoles is such an Alabama fanaddict he painted his house to look like a huge elephant and then spray painted his lawn maroon. Roll Tide!
