wik-ee-PEED-ee-nt (n.)

A person who believes everything they see on Wikipedia.

Other forms: wikipedientric (adj.), wikipedientry (n., an example of wikipedientric behavior) (wikipediantric/wikipediantry alternate spellings)

Similar to wikipedant, but a portmanteu of Wikipedia + obedient. Alternate spelling: wikipediant.

When the wikipedient wanted to know something, s/he looked it up on Wikipedia, regardless of whether the information was factual or not.

nothing but a dog

Nothing at all, or hardly anything.

An expression from the part of last century when Greyhound buses were ubiquitous.

Jack: "Anything coming?"
Charlie: "Nothing but a dog. Painted on the side of a bus."

motherlode

The correct way to spell motherload.

A jackpot, a treasure of great value or abundance.

A motherlode is a vein of of ore or mineral in the earth. If you hit the motherlode you hit the biggest vein with the most of that ore.
