Alex Ovechkin

He’s better than Crosby and you know it Penguins fans! Ovechkin is the greatest russian hockey player of all time. He’s got over 650 goals and isn’t even 35 yet. Commonly referred to as Great 8 or Ovi by Capitals fans, who is the reigning Stanley Cup champion team.

Bluelander

A diehard hockey fan from Atlanta who’s pissed about the Thrashers move back to Winnipeg. The term is derived from the Thrashers slogan “Believe in Blueland”, and the 2001 movie, “Zoolander”. The NHL’s 32nd team is being based in Seattle and not Atlanta. The Bluelanders are pissed.

Tim: Why would the NHL base a team is Seattle? The Canucks are only 2 hours away in Vancouver so can't Seattle just root for them

Jason Pominville

The best player of the post-2000 Buffalo Sabres. Has played 12 seasons for the Sabres and was their captain before his stint in Minnesota. He’s scored over 200 goals with the Sabres. Many Sabres fans refer to Buffalo, New York, as Pominville, USA. He wears number 29 and has for his entire career in both Buffalo and Minnesota.
