Fart-ish

1. adj. An atmosphere that smells and feels like someone farted, but nobody actually has.

2. adj. The warm, swirly feeling in your lower abdomen that indicates flatulence is imminent.

3. adj. The state of feeling prematurely old.

The After Joy

January 2, the official post-Christmas clean-up day filled with ever-elusive pine needles, missing extension cords, broken tree ornaments, over-the-top recycling of plastic and cardboard, and finding space for things you don't have space for.

"Hey, honey. Whew, he holidays are over. Let's just kick back and relax today."

"Are you kidding? I'm not looking at this tree for another week. Let's kick it to the curb and get all these boxes out to recycling."

"Oh, yeah. I forgot. Today's The After Joy."

Fartificial Intelligence

In business (mostly ineffectual meetings), the ability to use high-tech buzzwords and industry acronyms as a smokescreen for lack of certainty and/or subject matter expertise.

When asked how the NFT and VR initiatives would affect MQLs, the marketing director displayed fartificial intelligence by quickly pivoting to the lack of efficiencies and cross-functional support for longer-term, mission-driven ROI efforts that promote sustainability and increase engagement across the global ecosystem.
