A derogatory but humorous insult I made up to describe someone who doesnât get up early or (more typically how I use it) someone who sleeps in. I use the word disparagingly and to motivate my family and friends to get out of bed. If used on a stranger, they may be confused or offended, or they may even chuckle.
Dominick: *Still asleep at 10 a.m.*
Me: *Wakes Dominick up* Hey, get up you lazy bones resthead or youâll be late for your morning class!
