A friend who just hangs around just for food and cares less about anything else.

"So I'm having this party next weekend. Who do you think I should invite?"
"Don't invite John. He's such a food friend."

"I can't wait for the picnic today. There's going to be a lot of food. Maybe I'll be able to talk to Jane."
