Pop-Punk

What all punk bands who do not want to end their career will eventually evolve into. It is slower and slightly softer than punk but still keeps the word " punk " in the name of the genre for some reason. Most of the songs in recent Green Day and Blink 182 albums are pop-punk.
This is an unfortunate failure that truly has killed punk.
