Walk of Shame

When Andrew Jackson forced the native Americans to leave their land and go to Oklahoma in the early 1800's.

Teacher: Many Native Americans died on that journey, that's why it's called the trail of tears
Joe: no, it was called the walk of shame, because they were ashamed to leave their land.
