A series or bombardment of tweets posted on Twitter by someone, in angry response to media coverage, “fake news”, a recent event or personal affront.

President Trump went on an early morning Twitter tirade after fresh new allegations were made of his campaign’s collusion with Russia in the 2016 Presidential election.

Crow’s feet

Also known as “hyperkinetic skin lines”, these are the skin wrinkles radiating like spokes from the lateral canthus of the human eyes, forming the appearance of a crow’s foot from each eye. Produced as the result of sun damage to skin and chronic repetitive contraction of the orbicularis oculi facial muscles, which are used in smiling, laughing, squinting, and crying.

mining the vein

The act of scooping out and eating all the good parts of ice cream contained in the swirling ribbon of caramel, fudge, nuts, or other mixed-in ingredients, while eating from a container of ice cream. Analogous to a miner following and excavating a vein rich in precious metals or gemstones, leaving the less desired ore behind.

“My pint of Ben & Jerry’s is all picked through with holes in it and looks like Swiss cheese. My wife must’ve been mining the vein of fudge and nuts.”

The area in front of a business where parking valets park expensive or exotic vehicles, in an effort to impart panache to the venue.
