By God’s Bones

Phrase - one of the original curses listed in the Bible. Saying this phrase was viewed as an actual curse: when arguing with another, they would invoke an insult, followed by the phrase “by gods bones” to literally invoke the almighty into following through on your words. As people had more of a solid belief in god back in the day, this was a very, very, VERY serious thing to say to someone, and as such, is one of the original “curse words” listed in the Bible. Saying “by gods bones” was a good way to end up dead, or imprisoned for a long time.

“I’ll make you pick up your teeth with two broken arms, by God’s bones!”
“By God’s bones you better not be lying to me little one.”
“May the lord striketh me down if I lie, by God’s bones I tell you the truth!”

Skeg

Noun (n) - derogatory term for a Canadian: used within Canada as an insult to its people.

“Shut up skeg, you sound like you’re from Toronto.”
“I can’t stand Ontario mate, there’s 5 skegs for every girl!”
“Why don’t you make real music? Drake riding skeg!”

Cunk

Noun (n) - blend of ‘cunt’ and ‘conc’ (shorthand form of the word “concubine”). A woman who is both a bitch, and who uses sexual intercourse to take advantage of you.

“That cunk I brought home from the bar cleared out my wallet.”

“Melissa, that cunk! She gave me an std and had the audacity to tell me it was MY fault!”
