A term referring to the layering of socks to keep one's feet warm during cold outdoor excursions. Usually the last layer is a pair of polyester/wool blend work socks ("Nipigon Nylons")which both genders tend to wear during the winter season in Northern Ontario, Canada when enjoying outdoor recreation or performing work. Usually combined with insulated water-resistant boots.
Nipigon is a small town in Northwestern Ontario, approximately 110 km east of Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada.

An oval-shaped cinnamon bunwhich is topped with a sweet flavoured icing (strawberries, raspberries or blueberries).
The persian is unique to Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada, the only place where they are known to be baked.
'The Persian Man' in Thunder Bay is one of the more popular local establishments from which to buy one of these tasty persian treats.
