Where one consumes above average amounts of alcohol in one sitting to flush out the system. Often used with the adjectives "full" or "half" to define the rinse cycle.

John - "Gees I had a few of the guys over on the Saturday for a bit of a rinse up"
Roberta - "Sounds like a big night - full rinse or half rinse?"
John - "Nah, just the half rinse as I had to get up early the next day"
