Long Distance Relationship

1. When a person commits to celibacy (abstention from sexual relations) to remain best friends with someone of the opposite sex, who lives far away.

2. Just as pointless as having a relationship via internet with somebody you've never even met.

Phil: "Hey Alex! Hows that long distance relationship with Kevin working out?"

Alex: "Oh its good! We got to iChat today!"

Phil: "Wow.. So you're giving up physical contact with someone here, so you can talk to him over the computer?"

Alex: "Hmm.. I guess your right.. Long distance relationships are pretty pointless!"
