ESRGAN

ESRGAN is an acronym for Enhanced Super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Networks, an AI image restoration/upscaling algorithm for increasing image resolution using trained machine learning models to replicate higher resolution images.
The datasets used in models typically include images that are high resolution and downscaled to train on. It has been used in multiple texture packs and other restoration attempts.
It is also the sequel to SRGAN, so it's called ESRGAN (Enhanced SRGAN).
