When you're so angry with someone you momentarily feel like commiting murder. This term was thought to originate from the British Soap character Pat Phelan, an infamous serial killer.

A life long goal that, even if attained, is not right for you and your happiness. This references how the British TV character Curly Watts obsessed over the model barmaid Raquel Watts only to eventually marry her and discover the relationship wasn't meant to be.

Don't apply for Love Island. Even if you get famous it will turn out to be your Raquel Watts.

To verbally destroy someone. Term became widely used as a result of the British Soap Opera character Bet Lynch, a wise cracking barmaid famous for put downs.

Don't nit pick with them. Last time I did I got Bet Lynched.
