*A name for a type of alcoholic beverage. The '.' before '45' may actually be absent, but I wouldn't know because I don't drink off my ass and know every name for every alchy out there.
*The nickname for the Colt M1911A1, a semiauto, 7-round, .45ACP handgun.

assault weapon

*A firearm that is full-auto and capable of firing multiple rounds by holding the trigger.

*Apparently, a firearm that looks "menacing", or equipped with cool add-ons. Generally considered by the NRA as "an emotional response from gun-violence". On a related note, ALL shotguns are considered "assault weapons".

"My Mossberg has compensators on the muzzle. I guess that makes it an assault weapon. Oh wait. It already is."

Art Rock

I was searching online for a thorough definition of "art rock" and could not come up with anything I LIKED, so I decided to propose my own definition:

Art Rock is a sub-genre of Rock-and-roll music that originated with the hippy culture of the late 1960s and reached its peak in the 1970s with bands like Genesis, Pink Floyd, and Yes. Art Rock generally incorporates other forms of music such as jazz, and seeks to create a mood (which is better for listening than for dancing).

Art Rock is to rock music what impressionism is to classical music.
