A haircut worn almost exclusively by women, which is often a direct visual indicator of an emotional crisis. This concept has somehow established itself as a universal rule. Where or when it originated is unclear.

G: "I guess she is not taking you guys braking up very well?"
A: "You saw the Bangs?"
G: "Yeah man... it’s bad."
