A person who treats human beings like instruments and pretends to care about people they donât care about because they think they might be useful to them at some point in the future. Networkers are often very good at active listening.
God, I hate that guy! Never stops scheming. He's such a networker.

An irrationally intense and obsessive hatred for something or someone.
Damn! Irfan has a major hate hard-on for Phil, doesn't he?
The feeling of great enthusiasm and excitement which washes over some people when they contemplate the complete destruction of the world.
Everything he said about the impending crisis made sense, but the glee in his voice was downright disturbing. He could barely conceal his apocalyptiboner.
That Greg guy's sales numbers are crazy high because he's really good at active listening (i.e., he's really good at making you feel like he's listening to you).

Meaningful relationship; normal human relationship.
Those two are in such a codependent relationship! It's not healthy. I mean, seriously, look at how much they care about each other.

Machiavellian colleague who regularly sends out passive-aggressive emails, cc-ing everyone, whose sole purposes are to: take credit for other peopleâs work; cast aspersions on colleagues; and give their superiors the impression that theyâre taking care of business. As you might expect, cc-ebombers are much-loved by ill-informed management, and much-despised by those who actually have to work with them.
Can't stand that guy. He's such a cc-ebomber.

In Garrison Keillorâs Lake Wobegon, âall the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.â But in the real world, exceptional people are exceptional. If you say âoff the chartsâ often, thereâs something wrong with your charts.
I knew he was a clueless tool when he used the expression âoff the chartsâ three times in one hour.
