Cell Phone

The cell phone, one of the greatest things to come out of the 1980s, is one of the new millenium's most popular trends. Cell phones provide communication from almost anywhere, like in a mall, on a bus, in school, on an irplane, or even while driving!

Cell phones allow people to talk loudly and obnoxiously from miles away, as opposed to only while in the same room.

Smog

Visible air pollution often seen hovering around big cities (Los Angeles). The word 'smog' comes from the combination of the words 'smoke' and 'fog'.

There were times when a face mask was required to walk safely around Toronto because of SARS; Los Angeles is still like that because of SMOG.

Brontosaurus

An incorrect name given to a sauropod skeleton. It was originally believed to be a new genus, but was later understood to be the same creature as the Apatosaurus.

Brontosaurus burgers couldn't have existed, correct?

The Willies

Like 'The Creeps', The Willies is a feeling that one gets when he/she gets especially nervous. The Willies is not caused by actual fear, but the thought that something scary could happen in the near future. Too, unsettling actions/individuals can bring about The Willies.

Rick: See that guy over there in the gray fedora? He's starting to give me The Willies.

Gene: Yeah, I see where you're coming from. Throughout the show, a few other friends came up to me to express how creepy he is.
