Goebbeling

(Ger-bel-ing) The act of projecting responsibility for one's own moral wrongdoing or criminal misconduct by falsely accusing an opponent of the same or similar deeds. Derived from a (possibly apocryphal) quotation attributed to the Nazi Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's propaganda minister during World War II:

"Accuse the other side of that which you are guilty."

"There goes my opponent again, Goebbeling away, pretending like somehow my record is the one riddled with controversy, corruption, and failure," countered the challenger.
