Trepibabble â n. A type of procrastination which involves engaging in small-talk in an attempt to stave off receiving potentially life-altering information.
Example:

Doc: âYou never can tell.â
You: âI suppose you're keeping busy with this COVID situation.â
Doc: âOh yes â very busy. Now, regarding your brain scan . . .â
