Goot is a derivative of the derogatory word Faggot which in modern day culture means gay or homo sexual. Faggot at one point in modern society had powerful anti gay sentiment and meanings but has of late been made into a laughable term or a name used when one is in disbelief such as: "Stop being a faggot, George Bush did not announce he is pulling out of Iraq!"
The term Faggot had eventually lost its appeal because in the 21st century the reality is that there are many homosexuals in the public sectors so it would appear ignorant to say such a harsh word when the risk of it being heard and someone taking offense was more probable(see the Rapper Eminem vs rocker Elton John's feud/story/Happy ending on google for more info and examples). Eventually to save the word before its final demise a group of merry cooks and waitersâ created and modified the word so it can be said aloud in a colloquial way that none would understand the term when heard but those who have been told or perhaps called this new form of the word, thus the letters: "F-a-g" were omitted from the word Faggot and an extra letter "O" was added since it lacked the rhythm it needed to be catchy and fun.
The word "Goot" was born or created rather in the year 2006 in Niagara Falls On. Canada.
It is important to note as well that most people who lovingly would call their friend a name once and a while to get a reaction out of good plain fun may call a friend: "Fag", or now "Goot" It can be used in many ways and has different potential meanings depending on the inflection used when pronouncing the word "Goot".
"Goot" can be used playfully to a friend: "I really like Pat, he is a good friend but can be a Goot sometimes".(funny)
Goot can be used matter of fact like: "Richard Simmons is a Goot!"
It can be used in plural form: "Richard Simmons, and Lance Bass are Goots"
When used as a term of endearment it would be spelled differently adding the letters "sy" to the end reading "Gootsy"
For example two old friends run into each other at a bar when they havent seen each other in years and one says to the other "Gootsy, is that you?" (the other person knows the term Gootsy and Goot of course!)
As you can see and now the world! Gootsy and Goot is and interesting , fun, and yet dynamic word that you can start using today!
Have fun ya GOOT!
