2. Something is going well and you're feeling the need to express you're enthusiasm at it's sucess.

1. On a good day you say "I'm stoked as a goat!"
2. Situation example: You've just done some particuarly nice welds and the girder is properly solid as an ox. So you say: "Ahhhhh, Stoked as a goat!"

2. Said of something that is extremely solid.

1: A - "Is that bloke alright?"
B - "Dave? Yeah - he's as SOLID AS AN OX."
2: "This welding is as SOLID AS AN OX, it will never break."
