Wozzing or to woz is to deliberately, knowingly waste time when you have actually got something rather important to do. Examples include: tidying your room when you should be revising for an exam or randomly deciding to finally back up all your photos onto CD when you've got a presentation for work to prepare. Mum: "Have you finished that essay yet?"

Child: "I'm just sorting some old clothes out for the charity shop".
