Snoopy

Snoopy is a beagle dog that cartoonist Charles M. Schulz featured in the perhaps most popular comic strip in the world, "Peanuts". Snoopy has also been featured in movies, songs, etc. and is now an American icon. His independent nature has also made him a symbol of the "free spirit" attitude as well as what is good about America and its culture.

Onesie

Onesie comes from the word "one" and means a one-piece suit, usually in the form you use for lazy days at home. It is also used for one-piece snowsuits and one-piece motorcycle suits. The word is sometimes spelled onesy.

The name may be derived from the registered trademark Onesiesร‚ยฎ, which is a range of clothes for infant children. The word onesie (in singular) does however, in modern usage, more often mean a suit in adult size.

When I come home from work, I just like to change into my onesie and watch TV.

- Do you play bandy in these parts?

- No, we don't have the space for a bandy rink, so we only play ice hockey.
