So many company's astroturfing is hard to discern, so we must be that much more careful not to get fooled by it.

A metaphor for one's mental state in which the hand that one was dealt resembles "pocket 2's," where it is sort of interesting, but not going to win unless given help.

I was given pocket two's for these last three years. But I won with such a lousy hand, so it's all good.
