Scara

Shortcut for Scaramouche from Genshin Impact, famously used by the many Scaramouche fans out there who want to talk about him but don't want to type out his long name. A magnet for trouble, in and out of the game.

Lengthy History:
Scaramouche first appeared in the Version 1.1 "Unreconciled Stars" event. He appears as this friendly person who wants to help the Traveler and company, but is actually after the meteors that are descending in Teyvat.

His next appearance is during the 2nd chapter of the Inazuma Archon Quest wherein he helps to brew conflict in Watatsumi Island. Notably, his fans went insane at his reappearance since it had been well over 2 years since his last appearance. Especially during the scene wherein the Traveler enters the delusion factory and gets poisoned(?), with Scaramouche standing over them and mocking them.

His next and arguably most significant reappearance was the "Inversion of Genesis" Sumeru Archon Quest. The Archon Quest was almost entirely dedicated to him and him only, with a mix of the stuff Sumeru was going through. There is no realistic way to summarize this quest, just play the game. I promise it's worth it.

Debut:
Much to either the shock or joy of many Genshin players, Scara was announced as a playable Anemo catalyst character on October 31, 2022. His in-game debut as a playable character was on December 7, 2022 and has had a total of 2 reruns so far. One during Version 3.8 and the latest rerun was during Version 4.6.

Person 1: "Scara is such a complex character, his trauma and need to prove himself worthy of godhood is so heartbreaking. He's such a well-written character!"
Person 2: "Let me hug him, please. I need to hug him. PLEASE."

Kazuha

Kaedahara Kazuha is a character from Genshin Impact from the nation of Inazuma. He wields an Anemo vision and is a sword user.

A wandering samurai from the once famed Kaedahara Clan who has become acquainted with Captain Beidou of the Crux Fleet after his escape from Inazuma.

Fun facts:
Kazuha was famously known for being jokingly called 'the Canadian Aether' at his leaks and initial release due to his similar appearance with Aether.

Many were quick to judge his kit and claimed they'd skip him, but by the time of his release and even to this day, Kazuha remains as an incredibly overpowered sub dps and support for teams. He is a definite must pull for anyone who needs a swirling support.

Person 1: "Kaedahara Kazuha is a trash character! He can't–"
Person 2: "Just say you don't have him lol."

Niwa Hisahide

Niwa Hisahide is a minor character from Genshin Impact and was the Armory Officer in Tatarasuna 500 years ago in the game's lore. He's famously known for being the person who taught and essentially nurtured Kabukimono A.K.A. Scaramouche when he was freshly abandoned by Raiden Ei.

Fun facts:
- Around the time the teaser for the Quest "The 'Divine' Will" released, many had mistakenly thought that Niwa was Katsuragi. It was later revealed and much clearly clarified during the "Inversion of Genesis" Archon Quest that they are two different people.
- Contrary to popular belief, Niwa is not his name that's just his family name. His real name is Hisahide.

Person 1: "Niwa Hisahide is such an interesting character! I didn't even know he was the Armory Officer."
Person 2: "Wait, Niwa isn't his actual name?"

Tomo

Tomo is the nickname players gave to Kazuha's friend from the Quest "The Solitary Pursuit of Lightning" and is most famously known for his peculiar nickname. Players took the term 'tomodachi' which roughly translates to 'friend' in Japanese and nicknamed Kazuha's friend to Tomo.

Fun facts:
- For a long time, many players had actually believed that this was Kazuha's friend's name due to it's popularity. When in reality, not once does Kazuha or any piece of information from the game ever mention his name.
- Contrary to the popular misconception about his death, Tomo did not die duelling the Raiden Shogun. He requested to duel Kujuo Sara, who accepted on behalf of the Shogun. Tomo lost the duel and was killed by the Shogun using the Musuo no Hitotachi BECAUSE he lost, not because he dueled the Shogun herself.

Person 1: "Did you know that Tomo isn't actually his name?"
Person 2: "You might as well kill me for me not knowing that."
