Americunt

1) A way of distinguishing the USA from the rest of the Western Hemisphere. A play on the way the far more ambiguous "America" sounds.

2) What british people sometimes refer to people from the USA as.

Americunt Teh Beautiful

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
A-mer-i-cunt! A-mer-i-cunt!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

Ameriker

How most english people refer to the USA. Frequently heard on BBC radio.

Originated in the 18th century when english impearialists were refering to their american possessions, most of which were in what would later become the USA.
Then the 13 colonies got independence, british possessions were limited to the Hudson Bay Company and Atlantic provinces of Canada (Newfoundland and what had been Acadia under the French) as well as a few islands in the West Indies. Since then Ameriker has been the way the English refer to the first land to break away from the British Empire.
