I, genzbot

The new kids on the block, born after 9/11. The true technochild, born with a IPOD is his ear, and some sort of PDA in his hand. A cyberphile whose primary language is digispeak, text messaging form of digital communion. A person who is only electro-motivated to pursue life as a quasi-avatar. Will only function in a bot role to achieve financial independence.

Gen Z kids can say, "I, genzbot, Am."

adult tweens

Young people between the ages of 18 and 21 that have adult liability, but not adult status. Example: can be drafted, can be incarcerated, can enter into contract, no longer subject to parental control; but, cannot admit ones self to a hospital with co-consent of someone 21 or older, cannot consume alcohol at all or be in an area designated over 21 only.

It sucks, we can die serving our country, but under the law we are still adult tweens.

monapplely

A situation in which a single company or group owns all or nearly all of the market for a given type of product or service. By definition, a monapplely is characterized by an absence of competition - which often results in high prices and/or inferior products.

Damn, I hate AT&T wireless, and my fricking new iPhone 4 doesn't work worth a shit, I'd like to bust up that monapplely.

shift 2.0

Reference from a car commercial. Basically meaning to get a new view on things and abandon old school thinking on a certain subject; to shift into a new mode of thought.

Dude, get with the program: Hello, shift 2.0?

couch potato warrior

A person who advocates involvement in military or stratigic policy on a 9 or 10 scale, when in their own life, have never, or will have never been at that level of the identical risk.

Rush Limbaugh and Dick Cheney clearly define the couch potato warrior, as opposed to say, Colin Powell.
