Rock

Just about the most general term for music there ever will be.

In terms of music, it is used by kids who are talking to kids with no taste in music/parents, and will not know of any of the bands you're talking about, for example:

Lamer Or Parent: What kind of music do you listen to?
Cool Kid: *sigh*...rock. We'll leave it at that.

Also used in the popular game "Rock, Paper, Scissors", the game that can be used to decide anything, at anytime. (Rock beats scissors, just so you know.)

Also used as a supstitute for "cool" sometimes, but not really.

There are many styles of Rock music.

ROCK BEATS SCISSORS BITCH! AH NO, WHERE DID THAT PAPER COME FROM?!

That rocks!

Kso

A shortening of the phrase "K, so", which was shortened from "Kay, so", which was shortened from "Okay, so."

Used to progress in a conversation, after a long absence in conversation.

Myspace

To some people, it's a place to meet new people (as in, chat with people that you will never meet). To others, it's one big scene contest. In reality, it's a mixture of both.

It's an addicting networking tool, used by kids in high school and college. The loser's flaunt the number of friends they have over other people. Even though nobody really cares, once they leave the house (if they do, that is.)

It is also a place for every band to make a profile, even if they don't have any music to listen to.

If you have a Myspace, you constantly sign on to see if you have any new messages, friend requests, comments, or picture comments.

I myself have a Myspace, it's addicting. It's pretty bombarded with stupid scene girls and boys with choppy, ugly black straight hair.
