One Piece'd

The act of redrawing or state of a character in a more cartoonish or "happier" looking style than their original design. (Usually an intimidating/scary looking character turned into something more akin to a friendly mascot)

"Did you see what they did to _____ in the latest episode? The animators straight up One Piece'd them"
