Doof Stick

A tall stick, thick enough for attachments of one's choice, used as an identifier to find friends, of artistic or self-expression, to steer the ship or to be used as a staff (like Gandalf).

Jack had lost all of his friends at the festival when he got a bit too cooked. Luckily he was able to find them again when he spotted his mate's doof stick front left of the stage
