Safe horny

Term used by a particularly terminally online breed of right wing gamers to describe when a (usually female) character in a video game is physically attractive but isn't extremely sexualized to the point of objectification.

This trend is often blamed on DUH WOKE FEMINAZI GAME JURNALIZTS who use their demonic powers to cancel culture video game devs who make sexy women in their games and while it would be ignorant to claim that the current political climate to some extent is why we less female characters running around in chainmail bikinis with jiggling breasts the size of bowling balls. A more reasonable explanation is that being extremely sexualized just doesn't suit all characters, this isn't to say they can't be physically attractive but that there's a fine line between being hot and being reduced to only being there to make people horny.

Person A: Kiriko from Overwatch is kinda hot

Person B: ughh no she's nothing but safe horny trash only made to appeal to woke game journos so they don't have a tantrum and claim Overwatch is objectifying women.

person A: Ok she isn't exactly super model material but you can't lie that she isn't a least a little bit attractive.

Bad Red Man

A sarcastic term used which refers to a person that plays Soulslikes who enjoys the PVP aspects of the game. For Soulslikes this usually takes the form of using the invasion mechanic to show up in other peoples worlds to attack them. Due to the rather invasive nature of invasions in soulslike games which (to some extent) are non-consensual. Invasions are seen as an annoying mechanic and those who invade are often seen as evil fun haters.

The term itself is often used in a joking manner to mock those who hate invasions. Simplifying the invader as nothing more than scum who enjoys hurting people (Bad) with the Red Man part coming from the red aura invaders in soulslike games are given to make them distinct from regular enemies.

Gamer A: I've really been enjoying playing Elden Ring co-op with my friend but nearly every time we get attacked by some sweaty tryhard invader who just instantly one shots use before we can fight back

Gamer B: Its your fault you get invaded since Invaders can only attack if you use co-op summons. So maybe you and your friend would be better off changing your builds to counter any potential invader instead of crying that the Bad Red Man beat you up.
