Digital Howard

An obscure magician’s misdirect. Dates back to the late 1800’s, invented by William Radley and named after famed magician Howard Thurston. Involved creating a spectacle to draw people’s attention, and then using deft pickpocketing skills (digits) to nick as many valuables as possible while people were distracted.

If I tap you on the right shoulder so you look right, and then steal your wallet out of your left pocket, that's a Digital Howard
