Canky Memes

Canky Memes (also known as dursed memes or miscellaneous memes) are memes that fall out the regular, basic meme category. Similar to dank , these memes when first appearing are funny, but get worn out and then deep-fried which are posted on r/dankmemes and Instagram. This memes “parents” are the combination between cursed and dank, which gives them a weird personality and meaning, while the looks of it give it a funny but absurd vibe.

These memes are entirely random, memes that belong in this region are deformed and horrifically photoshopped emojis with no context, “When The When The” memes that resemble classic 2010-2011 memes, cursed “Yes” memes, and memes with a cursed image with a funny caption that still goes with the said image.

Some memes from this subcategory are then officially moved to a dank meme category. For example, the stonks meme which was funny at first, but then deep fried, worn out, and posted on Instagram. These memes are often mistaken for “hol’ up” and “cursed” memes but they aren’t. In almost all cases these canky memes have the vibe of them, but the looks are similar to a dank meme instead of a picture with just a cursed caption.

Fortnite is known as a popular battle royale shooter game, where you collect materials to build, fight other players, survive the “storm”, and do cringey stolen dance moves. Many people despise the game because of the infections it has caused, most infecting people between the ages of 5-22, it is truly a tragedy.

Parent: My son keeps playing this game called Fortnite!
Friend of parent: Put him to the guillotine.
Parent: Hm.. Good idea!

So cute that I would eat you up!

A metaphor that means that something is so cute, well you would eat it up. Really, it’s pretty terrifying. A funny though is just thinking if this goes for every animal when the eat something.

Lion: this youngling is so cute that I would eat you up!
Antelopes: aw thank you, she gets it from her mommy
Lion: *proceeds to maul and brutally kill the baby*

r/cringetopia is a subreddit that consist of redditors gathering together torturing themselves, by posting videos and images of cringe.

Sometimes torture would be diguised and be satire, many reccomend getting used to r/woosh subreddit, since once adapted to the subreddits enviroment, you'll be able to distinguish between satire and pure cringe.
