ride to die

The origin of the phrase "ride to die" is unknown. However, the definition of the phrase "ride to die" is to perform a task or duty without interest in glory. Those who do not ''ride to die" are sometimes referred to as "glory riders."

Jennifer knew that driving her car while pilled up with a fast food cup full of chardonnay was risky, but she thought to herself, "I ride to die," and she got in her car and drove away - never to be seen again.
